Pretty Ginger Bear, a heart of gold and locks of auburn hair. I’m just a girl in search of love. A family of my own and a place that I can call home. Is that asking too much? I am a sweet and loyal girl, I sure deserve it. I am already crate trained, housebroken and I know a bit of obedience but there are a few more things I could learn….like how to trust new people. I do well with other dogs, I hang out all day in my playgroup with lots of other dogs and mostly I just keep to myself but I gotta tell you, I really don’t want to share my home with cats. I do have a very sweet personality, anxious to trust and eager to please. I am soft hearted and it easy to hurt my feelings though…I’ve had a rough go of it… found as a stray, bounced from one place to the next and to top it all off I’ve got a bad back. There are two things that stand out from my basic training. Walk softly and fetch a big stick. And you are the only one stopping yourself from achieving greatness. These are two principles that I carry with me through every day life. So I know that I will find a family that will love me forever, I just can’t give up hope. Hooah! I may be retired from my service duties but still train every day, always willing to learn something new….Since I have come to this shelter they have been teaching me crate cleanliness techniques, and they are right up my alley. Hi! My name is Kaya and I had a really hard time writing this. It would be easy to make my story a sad one; it would be easy to tell you that the humans in my life who have been my owners so far have not known how to treat a girl very well. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized I am not that kind of girl. No negative for me, no thinking about the past. I give everyone I meet the chance to love me and I know that sometime very soon I will find the people that will love me forever; forever being key. My main loves in life are wiggling, dancing, eating, sunbathing and snorting like a pig. I currently live with a small foster brother and sister and a large foster sister and I am doing great with them. I even did great meeting the kitty cats! Sometimes I do get nervous, and sometimes on a leash I get a little defensive of dogs walking by. I understand that a lot of people are not familiar with what a true Wiggle is so I will try my best to explain. A true Wiggle is a sweet and affectionate canine companion who just wants a loving home, and a family to accept them for all that they are. I’m Coco; Warm and sweet, just one sip will comfort your soul. This gentle face has a story to tell, one of pretty poor luck. All I wanted was a family to call my own…and I thought that I had found it…but alas, back in a shelter I ended up. But the buck stops here! I’ve landed myself at Family Dogs and I intend to wait here until I find the perfect family to make me their own…and by “their” I mean “theirs forever and ever”. Some things to know about your buddy Otis here is that I love ice cubes, they are one of my favorite things in this world. Well lads and lassies Darby O’Hare here to set you straight on the facts of Madra love! What’s Madra you ask? Well boy-o, it is Gaelic for ‘Dog’ ! And we all love a little dog love in our life right? As it so happens to be I am a wee Madra looking for a home full of love! So you know, I am right respectful of the little ones, as long as they themselves walk in the light of respectfulness. Can you say Fabulous? I am one Fancy lil lady… just look at me! Am I not the prettiest thing you ever did see? So full of sprit too, truly a winning personality to match these stunning good looks. I am working real hard on my etiquette as well…sure I’ve still got some work to do, and I am committed to continuing my education (and my new family should be too!) but I am well on my way to becoming the best lady I can be. I am doing excellent with my crate training- no doubt I want to keep my sleeping quarters clean, comfortable and fancy. I am also a true socialite, I just love to romp and play with other dogs and goodness gracious do I adore people, but when it comes to those pesky cats I would prefer to have a home without them. Yes, Bassett Hound, Labrador and Pittie….you read that correctly. Yes, I am adorable and proud to be petite. So I don’t wanna hear any short jokes wise guy! I am concentrated awesomeness! I get along great with the other dogs in my play group and I just Love to wrestle and play… but I don’t like sharing! So I prefer to eat by myself..I don’t want no other paws in my food dish! I will do great in a home with respectful children, so long as the little tykes will give me plenty of pats on the head, allow me to snuggle in the their lap and know how to toss a ball for me! I am learning crate training here and by golly, I think I am doing pretty darn good! I am not cocky, I am just confident. Now I must tell you; I am not a friend to felines, so I will not go to the home of a kitty sympathizer, which is my only political stance. Other than that I believe in the good in others and know that there is a loving family out there that would love to have a spitfire like me as their family mascot.

Oh no, I ain’t no ordinary Max- I am like a Max worth a Million bucks! If you wanna just call me Max that’s fine by me…but I do have a million different reasons why you’ll want me as your dog! I am still pretty young, so I still have some learning to do…I am very trainable and oh so ready to learn! I already know how to play a mean game of fetch, I am crate trained and housebroken too. I love to go for car rides and I will save you a warm space on the couch. I know even know how to sit and stay….Plus I am a great alarm system for when someone comes to the house or the car…goodness do I know how to keep my people safe! I do really well with reward based training, being the sensitive fella I am…so if you’d like to teach me how to be less of watch dog I could totally learn! I’ve already learned how to play and socialize with other dogs, and I’ll be a great companion for older sturdy children say 10+ but no cats for me… Now that is only a few, I still have 999,989 reasons to show you why I’m the dog you want! I am not a Cheetah, but if you wanted to throw some Cheetos my way I would not deny your gracious offering! If fact I would probably do a happy dance and some tail waggin’. I like treats! But I like to treat folks to my own brand of reward, just as much as I like snacking! What kind of reward you ask? Well for starters I would like to be your #1 canine! But if I have to share the spotlight with another fur-haver I could do that too since I get along great with other dogs! Unless that fur-haver is feline in persuasion then (and please don’t let this get around) I would rather run and hide, they freak me out! I know… big dog scared of a little kitty, har har har. It is just something about their eyes that give me the heebie jeebies. I mean I could totally live with one, I just wouldn’t like them looking at me with all that cat face. But I would love to live with some gentle kids to play with! That would be the best! I mean they could play games with me all the time and I would never be bored!
