February marked 6 years since Family Dogs New Life Shelter began, what a fun 6 years it’s been!
That’s 2090 days….and over 6000 dogs saved! What’s that…..like 2.87 dogs per day. Pretty great wouldn’t ya say?
Here’s to many more happy birthdays and many more dogs saved…..

Happy Birthday Family Dogs!!!! You have brought so much love and happiness to the dogs and their new families. It is because of you that our family has the most wonderful little boy ever. We LOVE our Quincy! He really has brought so much love into our home and we are forever grateful to you for rescuing him. THANK YOU Family Dogs! I hope you continue your wonderful work for many, many Happy Birthdays to come!!
Thanks so much for all that you do!! And thanks so much for the new little doughty fellow we brought home 3 weeks ago, Seamus, (AKA Carson). He’s fitting into the household just fine. We had a couple of rough days, but I think they’re behind us now. Our first dog, Reggie, is playing with him all the time now and they actually sleep in a dogpile in the car!
6,000 dogs in six years… that is 1,000 per year! You guys ROCK!

I got “Jake” my 1 yr old black lab from you last June.
You did a wonderful job getting him ready for me…his forever home.
He loves the daily trip to the dog park….and he is just like a child.
Very good for everyone else except for MOM!!! Just kidding.
Keep up the good work and hopefully, after Jake grows up a bit more…..we will
be in to get him a forever brother or sister!!!
