Angus, A Prison Story
Or “How I Got Off For Good Behavior”
I was picked up for vagrancy wandering the streets of L.A. Truthfully, I was relieved, on the streets I was forced to act like a tough guy, (which I’m not, I’m just a puppy), and I never knew where my next meal was coming from. Finally, I was somewhere I could be myself! The sweeter I was the more the nice ladies that worked there fussed all over me! In fact, I got more attention than most of the others! OK, I didn’t like the cages and all the barking, but at least I was safe and well fed. Then one day a truck comes and seems to drive a bunch of us forever. I was scared!
I was driven to a place called a house. I call it heaven. Once again my sweetness paid off! I have two foster brothers to play with, toys, two square meals, a back yard to scamper in, and best of all a thing called a sofa. On the sofa I cuddle with my foster mom. I could cuddle all day. I’d rather cuddle than eat! I’m like all puppies, but I learn fast, I want to be good! I’m great in a crate because I have my toys! I might be a little rambunctious for a cat right now. I love to meet people and other dogs! Get this!!!!…. I heel on walks as well as my older foster brothers!!! I’m excellent! Ya know, being great pays off!! I’m thinkin’, it’s possible, I’m gonna find the perfect forever home!!!

He is one handsome guy!
Ever since I saw Angus right after he appeared on Family Dogs New Life’s website I have been in love. I come on here at least twice a week to see if he is still in his foster home. I am in the process of purchasing a house and if he is still there around February I would absolutely love to come see him and possibly bring him into my new home for our new life together!
Ever since my daughter and i saw the video of Angus we’ve been in love. She’s 4years old and watches it EVERY day. I have tried contacting the shelter, and the foster family but after answering a few questions she sent me… i have yet to hear from her. I own my own home, and i would absolutly LOVE to make him part of our family! Hopefully the right person sees this and can arrange a meet and greet for us! Patiently waiting, with our fingers crossed!
